Dr. Turkewitz graduated from Mt. Sinai School of Medicine where he was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha honorary society. He completed a Pediatric Residency at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia where he was Chief Resident. He is board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Emergency Medicine. Before coming to York, Dr. Turkewitz was Director of General Pediatrics at Geisinger Medical Center.
