Osteopathic Internship

Osteopathic Rotating Internship

The WellSpan York Hospital is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association and is a member of the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine's OPTI. The internship is administered and taught by our Osteopathic and Family Medicine faculty.

At the conclusion of the academic year, the osteopathic intern is graduated into the Family Medicine PGY2 training year and is expected to complete our AGCME accredited residency at the WellSpan York Hospital.

Our AOA internship curriculum is identical with the Family Medicine PGY1 curriculum with the addition of training in osteopathic manipulative therapy.
