Why did I choose York Hospital's residency program?

I was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana where I completed my undergraduate degree in Nutritional Sciences at LSU. GEAUX TIGERS!! It was then that I decided to take my love for traveling and cultures to France, where I taught elementary school for a year, before heading back to the South to attend medical school at VCOM-Auburn. My passion for women’s health and preventative medicine in both the local and global health settings brought me to York Hospital as a rotating student. I fell in love with the program’s clinical and educational opportunities, and most importantly, the people! I am thrilled to become a part of the Ob/Gyn team and to serve York’s diverse population! I am excited to discover the North, although I am a bit concerned about this whole winter concept. I made the big move with my Maine Coon, Leonidas, and my my significant other, who will be an orthopedic resident in the area. In my free time, I will definitely be enjoying the outdoors, traveling, cooking with all the flavors, and catching up with family and friends.
