WellSpan Health congratulates WellSpan York Hospital Family Medicine faculty member, Dr. Nancy Nagib, for her recent election to membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, by the Delta Zeta Chapter of the Drexel University College of Medicine.

Since it was founded in 1902, Alpha Omega Alpha has been a top medical honor society for medical schools.

Only a small number of faculty members are accepted each year, and we are honored that Dr. Nagib has been selected, to recognize her outstanding efforts with students and residents.

Election to Alpha Omega Alpha is a lifelong honor, signifying a lasting commitment to professionalism, leadership, scholarship, research, and community service.

Dr. Nagib joined the faculty at WellSpan York Hospital in 2015, after spending a number of years caring for patients at WellSpan Hayshire Family Medicine. She also completed her residency training at WellSpan York Hospital, after graduating medical school at Penn State University College of Medicine.

Dr. Nagib will be inducted into the Delta Zeta Chapter at the Annual Alpha Omega Alpha and Gold Humanism Honor Society Banquet next month in Philadelphia.
